Veterinary Technicians and Assistants

Joy Grosse', CVT      Clinic Manager

I moved from Sisters to attend the Veterinary Technician program here in Portland. I started working at Lake grove Veterinary Clinic in 1994. Working with animals is rewarding and exciting. There's always something new happening! My family and I have quite a few pets of our own that keep us company.

Sian Laird      Veterinary Assistant

Sian moved from South Africa to Oregon with her family of 4 humans, 5 cats, 1 dog, 2 birds and 2 fish. Sian also fosters litters of kittens for Cat Adoption Team. An avid cat person with a big heart for dogs, Sian loves the veterinary environment when helping animals.

 Karrye, CVT      Veterinary Technician

As a recent transplant to Oregon from California, I am enjoying life in the Pacific Northwest. I have spent most of the past 15 years working as a technician in various settings in both California and Texas. I currently have two senior-plus cats who enjoy sleeping all day and all night and an occasional walk in the rain.

Amy Wood      Veterinary Assistant

A transplant from the Lake Tahoe area, I have been at Lake Grove since February 2005. The staff and the atmosphere are positive and stimulating, which makes me love to come to work! My husband, James and I have two beautiful daughters, three cats, and one Saint Bernard.
