Pet Boarding

At Lake Grove Veterinary Clinic, we recognize the need for our clients to have a safe and dependable place for their pets when they need to leave your companion somewhere other than their homes. We have an extensive boarding facility for both cats and dogs, staffed by experienced pet care assistants who value the opportunity to make an unforgettable experience. Whether a pet’s stay with us is one night, two weeks, or just during the day, we are here when you need us! You can specify their individual needs for services such as medications, nail trim, grooming, a bath, or even a medical procedure, and we will make sure it happens. Whether your pet is here for a day of pampering, as an overnight guest, or for a medical procedure, we keep our facility climate controlled to ensure your pet feels relaxed and comfortable. Bedding, toys, and food are provided; so, we encourage you to leave your own at home. The largest play area we offer is partially sheltered for rainy days. In the summer months, they can swim and play in one of the pools if they wish.

Day Care

We offer day care services Monday - Saturday.  Whether you're looking for pet socialization or a way to burn off some extra energy, we offer both half and full-day play sessions. Staff intentionally pair pets together by size and energy level to ensure that every pet is safe and comfortable. Our play groups follow AAHA criteria by never having more than five dogs playing per each team member. 

Please note: For both boarding and daycare, we require patients to be seen within the last year by one of our doctors, proof they are current on vaccines, and a negative fecal test within the last six months.
