Darian is Lake Grove's Lead Veterinary Assistant. An Oregon native, Darian grew up in Oregon City and followed her passion for animal medicine directly out of high school. Starting as a kennel assistant, Darian quickly worked her way into a veterinary assistant position. Her attention to detail and strong ability to anticipate the needs of both the veterinarians that she supports and her teammates earned her the Lead role. Helping doctors tailor a medical approach to fit each individual pet's needs is Darian's favorite part of vet med. She continues her commitment to growth through her coursework in Penn Foster's Certified Veterinary Technician program. When she isn't working towards her next goals, she's spending time with family, riding ATVs, or hanging out with her own pets. She's a fur mom to two dogs, Opie and Kahlua; two cats, Harley and Oakley and two horses, Jewel and Ember.
